LG's smartphone pricing strategy in the US is insane

LG's pricing strategy for its new phones, the LG V30, V30S ThinQ and G7 ThinQ is flawed, and their features and specs are beginning to blur. This is unlikely to be successful. After reassuring us that new releases would only come when necessary, why this baffling strategy from LG?
