A difficult start to the year for smartphone manufacturers

This year started off with a bang. We saw several scandals including Samsung's apparent exploitation of minors in China, and also the intentional updates to slow smartphones down. It's clear that huge corporations are not untouchable, and must face the consequences of their actions.
